Come and join us! No audition is necessary.

MRCO is

• open to all comers,
• run by its members, and
• creates parts for all players (beginners to advanced).

As far as we know, this is unique among community orchestras.

Rehearsals

Find out details of rehearsals, and check out the times and locations of upcoming rehearsals on the calendar. You'll need to bring a music stand, and follow our Covid protocols.  

Cost

You are welcome to come and try a couple of sessions with no obligation.

Find out our subscription rates and how to pay. We are determined that there should be no financial restriction to anyone joining, so we operate a ‘pay what you can’ scheme. Please discuss this with our Treasurer.

Music

Everyone prints out their own music and brings it with them; if you can't print out your own music, your section leader will be able to print out music for you. When you join, you'll get a log-in for this website so you can download the sheet music and MIDI files. 

Members who want to practise at home can find all the parts (together with rehearsal recordings) on the website. Have a look in our music section to see what we're playing. We send out a weekly update to let you know what we'll be playing at that week's rehearsal, and let you know about any new pieces.
