Largo .....Huw Richards (orchestra member)
Huw Richards (1952 - ) has lived in Cambridge since 1965, sang and played guitar in folk clubs in the 70s, around campfires with the Woodcraft Folk in the 90s and took up playing  bowed instruments (violin, viola and bass) as a 'late starter' around 2000. He started trying to compose in 2015.  Much of his output attempts to write music that is easy to play. This meditative piece is at heart a trio: a duet between viola and violin over a simple bass line from the cello that rises and crescendos through all the notes of an octave and then descends and decrescendos back to the starting note
