Thank You from Blue Smile

Here's the thank you letter from Blue Smile, the charity we supported with our Autumn Gold concert.

Dear Melinda,

We are absolutely delighted with the fabulous £1000 that has been raised for Blue Smile following the concert on 13th November. This is a really impressive amount raised and will make an important difference to the children we support across Cambridgeshire.
This amount is broadly the sum required to cover the cost of two terms of 1:1 arts therapy sessions for a child at one of our Partner Schools, helping that child to process difficult experiences, achieve their potential and enjoy the childhood they deserve.
I would like to add how much I enjoyed the concert. I cannot imagine how challenging it has been for orchestras during the pandemic, and it was absolutely wonderful to be present at the concert and listen to you play. I believe you first made contact with us in March 2020 and with all the restrictions imposed on us all, it was so uplifting to finally see the concert happen. Thank you so much for thinking of Blue Smile, and please pass my grateful thanks to all the players and committee for your support towards our work. I hope we can keep in touch.
