Please join us in supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians who fight for their lives, their country and the freedom of the whole civilized world. You can show your support by attending the recital of Anna Starushkevych (a Ukrainian mezzo-soprano), accompanied by Kristina Arakelyan. All profit will be used to purchase various types of protection for civilian Ukrainians.

In our attempt, as artists, to defy this war, we have prepared this recital’s programme to be a manifestation of beauty, goodness and hope. You will hear vocal pieces and some solo piano music by Vivaldi, Handel, Thomas, Rossini, Britten, Dove, Arakelyan and Ukrainian composers Nyzhankivsky, Filtz and Shamo. In between the pieces Anna will share some facts about the great history of her beautiful country.

The whole world now knows about Ukraine and the war, which Putin's Russia brought onto our land. But Ukraine is not defined by this disaster. Ukraine is a nation of talented, smart, brave people and we want the world to know how wonderful our country is beyond this war, which will finish with the victory of Ukraine!

Light will win over darkness! Ukraine will thrive again!
