MRCO Donates £1,000 to "It Takes a City"

Following our Winter Concert on Saturday December 2nd 2023 we are delighted to announce we donated £1,000 to "It takes a City", a local charity that supports homeless people in Cambridge.

Their CEO Lis Silver commented:

"That is wonderful news – that amount will make a tremendous difference to the work that we are able to carry out this year and we so appreciate the generosity or everyone who has given their time to make this possible.  We plan to spend some of this money over the Christmas period to make it a special time for our quests and to buy them a few things that have been requested including some games and craft activities for the hostel.  Other things that will be funded include transport for appointments and furnishings for when people move into their own accommodation"
